Multi-Media Training Institute (MMTI) receives contract from the Department of Employment Services (DOES) to develop youth from the ages of 14 to 21 in the skills of video production, producing and writing for broadcast on television and the world wide web, web design and entrepreneurship and personal development.
MMTI has over 110 students from predominately Ward 5 of the District of Columbia enrolled in their program but students are from all quadrants’ of the city in training. (see picture gallery) o video)

MMTI recently expanded their 1,700 square ft television studio/computer lab and class room to an additional 4,000 square ft to accompany the additional students this summer. (Video Link)

A campaign is presently underway to assist MMTI in purchasing and rehabbing over 10,000 square ft of warehouse space to develop a television/theatre space and expanded computer lab and recording studio. () Please donate.

Please join us as we celebrate over 25 years of service that MMTI has provided at risk youth in the District of Columbia by donating today to our capitol campaign to have a permanent home, as we develop our young people to empower themselves, their families and their community.

MMTI is presently funded by the Department of Employment Services, The Freddie Mac Foundation, and The Community Foundation of Greater Washington.
